1. Acceptance

By accessing or using pxlvd at pxlvd.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

pxlvd is a web-based pixel art and animation studio operated by pxlvd (legal name: pxlvd), based in Perth, Western Australia. We provide the software on an as-is basis and reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use pxlvd. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

4. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You may not share your account with others.
  • Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Purchase and licence

  • pxlvd is sold as a one-time purchase (see pricing page for the current price). Payment grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence.
  • You may not resell, sublicence, or transfer your access to any third party.
  • All future updates are included at no additional cost.

6. Refund policy

We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase date and we will process your refund promptly. After 14 days, all purchases are final.

7. Your content

  • You retain full ownership of all pixel art you create using pxlvd.
  • We claim no rights over your artwork.
  • Your canvas data is stored locally in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use pxlvd to violate applicable laws, create illegal content, reverse engineer the software, disrupt the service, or use automated scraping tools.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

pxlvd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pxlvd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

12. Changes to these terms

We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
